Licence
NOK 35,880per year
for a package of up to 10 service recipients. That is NOK 3,588 per service recipient per year.
An unlimited number of staff and relatives around each service recipient. If the municipality needs room for more than 10, another package is added.

All prices excluding VAT. The amount is well below the NOK 500,000 threshold for direct procurement, so the municipality can enter the agreement without a tender process. The municipality can start at any point in the year and pays the licence for the remainder of that year.

JodaCare is a secure communication solution between staff and relatives around each service recipient, in use in Norwegian municipalities since 2016. Cost in the first year: NOK 63,880 excluding VAT (licence NOK 35,880 and onboarding NOK 28,000). Cost in following years: NOK 35,880 excluding VAT. The amount is below the threshold for direct procurement. The agreement runs for 12 months with 3 months notice.
Modules on the way
The new JodaCare is built module by module. Each new module gets its own price once it is finished, and the municipality decides whether to add it. The price of the core module does not change as new modules arrive.

Agreement terms
A 12 month agreement with automatic renewal and 3 months written notice. Onboarding is invoiced when the agreement is signed. The licence is invoiced quarterly in advance with 14 days payment terms. A data processing agreement is signed before onboarding. JodaCare provides a proposal, and the municipality may use its own template.

Questions and answers
Why do you state the price per year?
Because the municipality budgets per year. That is the figure you need.
We have used up this year’s budget. Can we still start?
Yes. You pay the licence for the months left in the year, and the full annual price from the next budget year. Onboarding is paid when the agreement is signed.
We only have four children in the home. Do we have to pay for 10?
Yes, a package is the smallest unit. The package follows the home, so new children can be added without a new agreement.
What happens when the new JodaCare is ready?
Customers who start on the current solution are moved over at no extra cost. The price stays the same.
Do we have to run a tender?
No. The amount is below the threshold for direct procurement, so the municipality can enter the agreement directly.
What is included in onboarding?
Technical setup, two courses on Teams, a data processing agreement, DPIA, security documentation and a named contact for 90 days.
